Jigsaw24 Media is introducing a new ecosystem of solutions to support Adobe Premiere Pro workflows in post houses and broadcast facilities. Key to the offering is an exclusive technology partnership that Jigsaw24 Media has signed with MoovIT for their project management software, Helmut4, in the UK.

Adobe products are recognised for their creative capabilities and the flexibility they provide users; Adobe’s expansive ecosystem means facilities using Premiere Pro have freedom of choice when it comes to selecting media storage, project management and other tools to support the full post-production workflow. Identifying the right products and integrating different systems to create a robust solution can be daunting, but by providing an ecosystem of products and services, designed, delivered and supported by a single, vendor-agnostic team of media industry specialists, Jigsaw24 Media will help post and editorial teams to leverage the new game-changing, AI-driven productivity features of Adobe products within an organised infrastructure.

“Adobe Premiere Pro is increasingly popular amongst long-form and HETV/Episodic editors, and there’s a vast array of products available to support the full post-production workflow for big post-production teams working on editorial content. That’s where we come in,” says Jigsaw24 Media MD, Jason Cowan. “Jigsaw24 Media has the in-house expertise and vendor partnerships in place to design, integrate and support multi-vendor ecosystems for facilities adopting Adobe workflows. We also pride ourselves on our ability to keep up with the market’s evolving needs and new technologies. As such, we’re proud to share that we’ve been awarded gold partner status with MoovIT, whose orchestration tool, Helmut4, is relied on across the industry to orchestrate Adobe Premiere projects.”

Helmut4, MoovIT’s powerful project management and orchestration tool consists of four different modules for different parts of the workflow. HelmutFX, the central location where users can import, create, search, and open projects belonging to their specific group, following predefined naming conventions and folder structures. HelmutIO, responsible for importing assets and exporting sequences, which also supports the outsourcing of render jobs. HelmutCO (or Cosmo), which gives users unique capabilities for searching and sharing assets or complete sequences within the registered projects. And finally, HelmutHK (Housekeeper), to take care of project-based archiving, restoring, storage cleanup and more. Due to its modular architecture, driven by a self-developed, client-based workflow engine, the Helmut4 platform can be expanded and enhanced over time to fully adapt to the user’s needs. This flexibility is achieved through Helmut4’s Streamdesigner, where users can add custom nodes and design their own workflow structures to meet specific requirements.

Hans Douma, managing director at MoovIT MSP said, “The success of Helmut in Europe is largely based on the snowball effect of recommendations by users, but it’s a product that has to be seen to realise its potential. We know that every country has its own micro-cosmos, so we need a local representative with a good reputation and customer relationships to not only sell our products but to provide a full package of education, consultancy and support – and Jigsaw24 Media is one of the only companies that can do that in the UK.”

Simon Williams, vice president of strategic development, emerging solutions and partnerships at Adobe added, “Adobe’s focus is on delivering best-in-class creative solutions that enhance productivity. Our on-device desktop software leverages machine learning to accelerate various key local processes, while our cloud-based tools offer generative capabilities to unlock even greater creative potential. When it comes to digital video infrastructure, enablement training, and ongoing workflow support, our success is made possible with the help of our partner ecosystem – and this includes our longstanding collaboration with Jigsaw24 Media, which spans decades. We’re excited about the faster, more flexible capabilities that this new solution will deliver for customers.”
