Clear-Com® is happy to announce its latest collaboration with BNE Productions, a premier production company known for delivering world-class audio for live events. For the first time, BNE has made a direct investment in Clear-Com equipment, marking a new chapter in their long-standing relationship, and wasted no time putting it to work across multiple stages at Insomniac’s flagship festivals, Dreamstate and Apocalypse. This milestone demonstrates Clear-Com’s essential role in powering communication at today’s biggest live events.
BNE Productions has long relied on Clear-Com solutions via third-party rental channels to support their production needs. Now, as their client base and event roster have grown including festivals such as Dreamstate, Apocalypse, and Countdown NYE, BNE has made its first direct investment in Clear-Com gear, adding the Encore® Analog Partyline System and FreeSpeak® II wireless beltpacks to their in-house equipment inventory.
The new system configuration was selected to address the specific demands of large music festival environments:
2 Encore Partyline Stations provide centralised and reliable access to multiple intercom channels.
20 FreeSpeak II beltpacks give crew members a lightweight, easy-to-use connection for consistent communication across stages.
20 CC-400-X4 Double-Ear Headsets were chosen to block out the high-volume festival environment, ensuring production staff can clearly hear instructions without distraction.
4 x FL-7 1-Channel Call Signal Flashers add a visual signalling option, critical in loud areas where even headsets may not suffice.
“Our clients demand crystal-clear communication during high-stakes live events,” said Saad Al-Jadir, CEO of BNE Productions. “After extensive evaluation, we found Clear-Com’s partyline setup and other systems to be far superior to competitors. This investment empowers us to deliver the most reliable communication tools, ensuring smooth operations for our clients at every event.”
Clear-Com’s Regional Sales Manager, Brian Grahn, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “Working with BNE Productions allows us to support dynamic events throughout the West Coast. Their dedication to quality and innovation aligns perfectly with Clear-Com’s mission to provide best-in-class communication solutions that keep teams connected, no matter the scale or environment.”
Most recently, BNE deployed their new Clear-Com system across four stages at Dreamstate and Apocalypse, two of Insomniac’s largest electronic music festivals hosted at The Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA.
Tasked with ensuring quality crew communication across multiple festival stages, BNE turned to Clear-Com’s rugged and reliable Partyline system. The Partyline system, known for its flexibility and durability, enabled key production personnel to maintain uninterrupted, clear dialogue across departments, even in high-noise, high-pressure environments.
This investment marks a new chapter in BNE’s relationship with Clear-Com, one built on shared values of reliability and performance. Their recent deployment at Dreamstate and Apocalypse is just the beginning, as the partnership continues to grow across music festivals, branded experiences, and other large-scale live events.
