Accedo, a global provider of video streaming software and services, has supported FloSports, a leading sports media company, to expand its service to Samsung and Vizio smart TVs, with built in functionality enabling viewers to purchase new FloSports packages, direct from their TVs.
The FloSports service allows viewers to subscribe to more than 25 different sports to enjoy on-demand and live content. The addition of in-device purchasing available through Samsung Checkout and Vizio Account integrations, enable simplified sign up and subscription management, making it even easier for sports fans to subscribe to and manage their sports packages.
To bring the streaming service to Samsung and Vizio smart TVs, Accedo worked closely with FloSports throughout the design, development and deployment process. Accedo is also supporting FloSports to launch on LG smart TVs later this year, making the sports streamer available on nearly all smart TVs sold in North America this year.

FloSports is currently available on mobile, web, and Connected TV devices with a FloSports subscription. Connected TV viewers can enjoy the service on Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google TV and Roku devices, as well as the new additions of Samsung and Vizio, with LG smart TVs coming later in the year.
