Continued investment in Europe with a new German presence and dedicated local teams, providing customers faster access to stock, local expertise, and expert support.
CVP, one of Europe’s leading suppliers of professional video and broadcast solutions, today announces the launch of its new German operation and the formation of a dedicated DACH team, marking a major step in the company’s European expansion.
Building on the success of CVP’s existing European headquarters in Belgium, opened in 2021, the expansion strengthens its presence across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, bringing technical expertise, customer-focused service, and fast, reliable support closer to one of Europe’s most dynamic production markets.
To support this initiative, René van der Reiden, Managing Director CVP Europe, has appointed Marco Müller as Sales Director. Müller brings nearly 20 years of industry experience, starting as a 1st Assistant Camera (1st AC) on productions including Bergdoktor and Rosamunde Pilcher, and later working as a 2nd unit camera operator. Since 2016, he has focused on the commercial side, most recently as Senior Key Account Manager at BPM (later Teltec), specialising in drama, documentary, and corporate production, delivering tailored solutions to clients of all sizes.
“Having worked extensively in the industry, I understand the demands of our customers first-hand,” said Müller. “In today’s fast-changing environment, they need partners they can trust. There is a clear gap in the German market, and with CVP, my team and I are excited to bring our expertise to help clients deliver successful projects without having to worry about the technical side.”
The German operation will combine strong local relationships with CVP’s global network, offering extensive stock, fast delivery, Pro Repairs & Engineering, transparent landed costs, local insight, and international capability.
Its established Used Marketplace and Auctions platform will also be an important focus; enabling customers to maximise the value and lifespan of their equipment by buying and selling pre-owned gear, both locally and internationally – a capability that remains largely unmatched within the German market.
“The European market presents significant growth opportunities,” said René van der Reiden, Managing Director CVP Europe. “At CVP, our mission is to empower creators at every level – from independent operators to major production companies – by providing the infrastructure, expertise, and international support they need to navigate technical and operational challenges, maximize efficiency, and achieve lasting growth.”
