AgileTV, a leading provider of end-to-end TV technology solutions, has deployed “next”, the new IPTV platform of the Austrian telco LIWEST, marking the first step in the DACH market.
The TV platform introduces a new generation of TV services, combining traditional broadcasting with streaming capabilities and app-based entertainment to offer a flexible, personalized, and advanced television experience. The solution supports an extensive range of features – from premium TV channels – all accessible through a fully integrated, user-friendly interface, super aggregation capabilities, an open content system that allows for flexible integration of third-party platforms, and full regionalization support to adapt content offerings to local market needs.

The new TvaaS platform “next” offers the TV service to new customers and will also gradually migrate the Austrian operator’s current TV subscribers in February 2027. The service is supported by a robust, secure, and highly available infrastructure, aligned with high data protection standards and powered by certified green energy. The deployment ensures a smooth transition from legacy systems, reinforcing AgileTV’s capability to deliver scalable, next-generation TV services for telecom operators.
“next” platform delivers an advanced IPTV solution combining linear TV and OTT services through full integration with Android TV applications and an enhanced channel offering. The platform features a modern user interface with personalized navigation, and supports advanced functionalities. It enables a seamless multi-device experience across iOS and Android mobile devices, as well as major TV ecosystems such as Android TV, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick, and Samsung Smart TVs (TIZEN).
The launch marks a new milestone for AgileTV, which continues to consolidate its position in reliability and technical expertise for TV as a service provider at the international scene.
