Arkona technologies GmbH will use ISE (Booth 5.K800) to demonstrate how its ultra-low-latency, software-defined media infrastructure is increasingly being adopted well beyond traditional broadcast, with esports and large-scale gaming production emerging as a key growth area. As live gaming events continue to converge broadcast-grade production values with IT-centric workflows, arkona’s FPGA-accelerated platforms offer the scale, flexibility and predictable, low-latency performance under load required to support some of the world’s most complex real-time productions.
At the show, visitors will have opportunity to discuss the wide-ranging implementations that arkona, together with technology partner manifold, have carried out over 2025, across the field of broadcast, IT, enterprise and now, increasingly, esports. Last year they delivered a comprehensive solution for one of the world’s largest annual esports championships, an event that attracts global audiences and operates at an exceptional level of production complexity. Using five FPGA-based COTS accelerator cards, the system powered a high-density HTML5 graphics generation and insertion workflow, handling more than 200 unique input sources and driving over 80 output monitor heads. This enabled production teams to maintain full situational awareness across a vast and fast-moving competitive environment, with consistent, frame-accurate performance throughout the event.
In parallel, arkona and manifold also supported another of the industry’s most prestigious annual competitive gaming tournaments, delivering a compact yet powerful multiviewer solution capable of generating ten live previews from a single COTS server accelerator. The deployment demonstrated how high-density monitoring and ultra-low latency processing can be achieved without the need for large, fixed hardware footprints – a critical factor in esports environments where agility and rapid redeployment are paramount.
At ISE, visitors will be able to explore these gaming-focused deployments alongside arkona’s broader portfolio, including the BLADE//runner platform and manifold CLOUD. Together, they form a flexible, software-defined foundation for routing, processing and multiviewing across broadcast, ProAV, IT and gaming workflows, allowing organisations to scale from compact studio builds to globally distributed live productions using the same core technology.
Commenting on the esports focus at ISE, Aleksei Shevchenko, CEO of manifold technologies GmbH, said: “These events represent the very top tier of live gaming production, where scale, speed and reliability are non-negotiable. What makes these deployments stand out is not just the sheer number of sources and outputs involved, but the consistency and responsiveness the platform delivers under intense operational pressure”.
He continued: “ISE is the ideal venue to show how arkona and manifold technologies are enabling esports producers to apply broadcast-grade precision within modern, IT-driven environments. The fact that our solutions are now trusted for some of the world’s most significant gaming events underlines how broadly applicable this technology has become – and how well it aligns with the future of live production across industries”.
