Bluefish444 has received an Epic MegaGrant to drive the continued development of its 64-bit software plugin to Unreal Engine for highest quality and lowest latency multi-channel video/audio/data input and output for 3D graphics.
“Bluefish444 has a long history of supplying the Film, Broadcast and Live Graphics industry with more than 30,000 video cards installed worldwide for SDI workflows” said Craige Mott, Managing Director.
“The Bluefish444 engineering team have developed the highest quality and lowest latency video interface cards and we will use the MegaGrant to bring these features to real time 3D graphics systems using Unreal Engine.”
Both Unreal Engine artists and 3rd party developers can soon access Epoch SDI and KRONOS 4K SDI and SMPTE IP interface cards from within Unreal Engine.
Together Bluefish444 and Unreal Engine enable creative freedom, removing barriers to broadcast graphics, virtual set production, and virtual production techniques such as In-Camera VFX.
