Broadcast Solutions, one of Europe’s largest media systems integration groups, is returning to the Media Production & Technology Show (stand C57, Olympia London, 10 – 11 May 2023) with a fresh stand showcasing the company’s multiple capabilities.
A focal point of the MPTS stand will be a greenscreen stage, home to a virtual studio demonstration featuring dynamic graphics from Zero Density, one of Broadcast Solutions’ premier partners.
With virtual production and augmented reality now a key part of many media companies’ activities, Broadcast Solutions has wide experience in building and fitting out turnkey projects.
“Zero Density was the original pioneer to introduce the Unreal Engine for broadcast production, opening up a new era for virtual studios,” said Ahmet Oturgan, business development manager at Zero Density.
“Because of their real in-depth knowledge of systems design and implementation, Broadcast Solutions is our ideal partner in tailoring and building complete systems for broadcast, education and commercial users.”
Drawing on that detailed experience of media systems, Broadcast Solutions has developed its own control layer, hi human interface, which is now available as a standalone product and will be on the stand at MPTS.
Hi human interface is the next generation in broadcast control systems, built on a distributed architecture to make it incredibly resilient, while using modern interface design to ensure it is completely intuitive to anyone familiar with a smartphone.
Also on display at MPTS will be a range of Dreamchip mini cameras. These small cameras have become the product of choice for multiple applications way beyond PoV.
With options for 4k, HD, Super Slow Motion all in various form factors, these powerful cameras sit comfortably alongside the big system cameras and are currently being used by all the major players.
Broadcast Solutions will be keen to discuss how they can be used as part of a larger production environment.
“MPTS last year was very successful for Broadcast Solutions, and we have great hopes for even better results this year,” said JP Delport, managing director of Broadcast Solutions UK.
“We can draw on resources from across the group to tackle the biggest studio or truck projects, but we can also implement remote workflows, virtual studios and specialist facilities.
“MPTS is an important opportunity to talk to visitors to show how we can take their ideas and realise them practically, rapidly and sustainably.”
