Gravity Media, leading provider of live creative and production and media services, today confirmed its broadcast and technology partnerships for the all-screens coverage of the next big events on the horse racing calendar.
The upcoming Magic Millions Carnival on the Gold Coast, and the Golden Slipper at Rosehill and The Championships at Royal Randwick as part of the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.
The Magic Millions on 14 January, 2023 and the Sydney Autumn Carnival across March and April will be broadcast on the Seven Network.
Gravity Media Australia’s appointment for the upcoming races follows coverage of Australia’s biggest horse racing events, including the Sydney Spring Racing Carnival, the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival and the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
The company’s state-of-the-art outside broadcast trucks, cameras, satellite and uplink facilities and cloud-based technologies deliver many of the world’s best horse racing events across multiple broadcast, subscription and streaming platforms.
Gravity Media accessed more than 47 cameras and a crew of 150 across October and November in delivering broadcast and technology outcomes for the coverage of horse racing carnivals in Australia.
The Melbourne Cup Carnival in 2022 was Gravity Media’s 21st in the delivery of broadcast and technology solutions across Derby Day, Melbourne Cup Day, Oaks Day and Stakes Day.
Gravity Media was also engaged for the coverage of the Caulfield Cup, Caulfield Guineas and Cox Plate.
Across the Sydney Spring Racing Carnival, Gravity Media was entrusted with the Epsom, Silver Eagle, Everest, Spring Champion, Golden Eagle and Ladies’ Day along with The Big Dance.
In addition, Gravity Media is the broadcast and technology partner for racing.com with Gravity Media’s Production Centre Melbourne linked with Gravity Media’s Production Centre Sydney as the production hub for racing.com’s coverage of horse racing across Australia.
