At IBC2026, Lawo presents the latest advancements in its audio production portfolio, demonstrating how software-defined workflows, IP-native infrastructures and intelligent orchestration are helping broadcasters and production providers increase operational flexibility and efficiency. At Booth 8.B90, visitors will experience the newest software releases for the mc² production console family and Power Core, alongside Lawo’s integrated audio infrastructure ecosystem built around the HOME management and orchestration platform.
A key highlight in Lawo’s audio production portfolio is mc² Software Release 12.4, which delivers numerous workflow enhancements for live production and broadcast applications. The release introduces Real-Time Analyzer (RTA) support, providing engineers with immediate visual feedback for signal analysis directly within the console workflow. Operation on touchscreen-equipped surfaces has been streamlined through new zoom module pop-ups, offering faster and more intuitive access to channel controls.
Release 12.4 also expands interoperability within increasingly diverse IP production environments. HOME API updates enable mc² control systems and consoles to read and control third-party lives@HOME equipment, including devices such as the DirectOut PRODIGY series. In addition, channel presets can now be recalled directly from external Ember+ controllers, simplifying integration with broader facility control systems. Further refinements include sample-based delay adjustment for highly accurate timing alignment and API-key authentication for secure machine-to-machine connectivity between consoles, control systems and HOME.
Looking ahead, Lawo will provide a preview of mc² Software Release 12.6, continuing its strategy of tighter HOME integration and greater operational agility. New capabilities include dynamic assignment of physical console connections as devices to mc² control systems through HOME, enabling more flexible resource management and resilience across facilities. The upcoming release also introduces the HOME mc² Control System App and browser-based mxGUI support, allowing native operation and configuration from standard web browsers. Usability is further enhanced through improved AUX bus assignment and dynamic VCA Leader meter displays, delivering clear visual indications during live productions.
Also on display will be Power Core software package 10.0, the latest release for Lawo’s versatile IP audio processing platform. New functionality expands workflow capabilities for Radio and TV broadcast applications, including the release of the HOME Power Core, the software alternative to the physical Power Core. In addition, a new six-band equalizer featuring four fully parametric bands plus two additional filter bands gives operators greater processing flexibility and creative control, available both in Power Core and within the HOME Power Core DSP App.
Alongside these innovations, Lawo will present its complete portfolio of IP-native audio infrastructure solutions, spanning mc² production consoles, crystal and diamond on-air broadcast consoles, Power Core and A__UHD processing platforms, stageboxes, and I/O gateways, including the A__Line series and the new Edge One Converged Video & Audio Stagebox. Integrated through HOME and based on open standards, these solutions support highly scalable workflows, from compact production setups to major broadcast, sports, entertainment, and performing arts productions.
