TVU Networks played a pivotal role in the success of this year’s CreatorU event.
Throughout the three-day live streaming event, attendees engaged with industry veterans and showcased their skills in competitions ranging from gaming to culinary arts.
These were all broadcasted live on Twitch via TVU solutions – TVU Producer, TVU Anywhere, and The ONE.
CreatorU, spearheaded by Uconnect, is a program designed for up-and-coming student creators.
It offers an opportunity for 12 selected students from across the United States and Canada to attend Twitchcon, where they can hone their content creation skills and build valuable industry connections.
With a full schedule and limited time to set up, CreatorU’s production needed frame-synced, portable solutions that would allow seamless switching between pre-recorded content and live events that are easily accessible to anyone on their team.
“The UConnect team was able to use TVU Producer to frame sync all their live video and gameplay feeds by simply logging into a web browser.
“Paired with TVU Anywhere, the students could live stream their Las Vegas adventures right from their smartphones.
All they had to do was simply scan a QR code within the application and they were up and running,” explained Dylan Liu, CEO of UConnect.
“The tight integration of TVU Producer and TVU Anywhere provided an alternative to bulky, high-cost equipment traditionally associated with remote production setups.”

The ONE, TVU’s latest innovation in video transmission technology, played a pivotal role as the primary broadcast feed.
