Panasonic will bring together Europe’s leading broadcasters and event producers at a virtual event next month to show how its next generation live production platform, KAIROS, is changing the way the industry works.

The KAIROS Infinity Event will cover the latest industry trends, the experiences of major broadcasters and event producers using KAIROS and the latest product developments.

Industry insiders and the media are invited to register now for the online event taking place on May 4th, 2022, at 14:00hrs CET/13:00hrs BST.

Mauro Cassanmagnago, Director of Broadcast Technology and Marco Di Concetto, Head of TV Production Systems Technology at Mediaset, will explain how the broadcaster is using KAIROS to spearhead its migration to the ST2110 standard at the Light Studio in Milan.

Creative Technology’s Sid Lobb and Sam Hatcher will discuss how their company – the premier provider of outsourced technology, staging and production services to event organisers and content creators – is using KAIROS to revolutionise production and sports coverage, including the Olympics.

Focusing on the needs of the rental market and the opportunity for training at the KAIROS Academies across Europe, will be Tobias Lang, CEO of Lang AG.

In addition, Andre Meterian, Director of Professional Video Systems for Panasonic, will share insights on the latest industry trends and innovations. The event will also be the first to reveal details of the latest KAIROS system software updates.

These will include an expanded number of inputs and outputs with the new Agile I/O feature, enhanced audio functions including interface support for various audio inputs and outputs, improved audio-mixer functions, and a new audio player – all enabling larger-scale live productions without requiring hardware updates.
