KVM manufacturer Guntermann & Drunck GmbH (G&D) is among the medium-sized companies to have received a TOP 100 award 2021. For the 28th year, the TOP 100 awards recognise innovation as determined by more than 120 criteria spanning five categories, namely: innovation-friendly top management, innovative climate, innovative processes and organisations, external orientation/open innovation, and innovation success.
Among other considerations, the assessment process examined whether innovations have been the result of a planned approach or a product of chance, ie. whether they can be repeated. Due to the ongoing pandemic, this year’s Awards also examined how flexibly companies are responding to the challenges brought by Covid-19.
“The TOP 100 Award is the most important award for innovative companies in the SME sector, and we are delighted that it recognises the creativity and problem-solving skills of our entire team,” said G&D managing director Rolland Ollek.
Operating on a global scale, G&D develops and manufactures KVM products for extending and switching computer signals. KVM systems from G&D have installed in numerous control environments worldwide, including TV and film production studios, air traffic control centres and airports, chemical and petrochemical companies, and organisations in the energy sector.
G&D KVM products enable the extension and distributed switching of computer signals over a distance of up to 10,000 metres. They prevent disruptive heat and noise emissions with regard to complex control room consoles, and also facilitate access to fallback systems.
