Qvest has equipped leading international postproduction house Herold Studios with new, future-proof sound facilities.
The upgraded facilities include an Avid S6 console with fully integrated Dolby Atmos workflows and a digital projection theater matching DCI specification so that sound mixing along with color correction can be performed to the highest professional standards.

The team at Herold Studios has partnered with Qvest to re-equip its audio production facilities for the coming decades to optimally meet the needs of their international clients.

The primary tools installed and configured include a new Dolby Atmos certified production system with an Avid S6 console that best complements the DCI-compliant projection and the cinema server for playback of DCP masters.

The Avid Pro Tools controller integrated by the Qvest team was precisely adapted to the studio’s individual requirements in terms of design, form, and function, including the table.

The on-site installation proceeded smoothly, with Qvest able to hand over the fully functioning system to Herold Studios within just a few weeks after the order was placed.

Where components were temporarily unavailable due to ongoing global supply chain difficulties, Qvest was able to flexibly provide equipment from its Rental Pool to ensure on-time commissioning.

The postproduction studio headquartered in Frankfurt am Main is renowned in Europe and Hollywood for the quality of its sound mixing and sound design for film, advertising, video games and music.

It offers the complete range of sound postproduction including recording ADR and editing dialogue, sound effects and music.

The efficient project implementations in the field of audio technology at Herold Studios and previously at Torus in Cologne, Rotor Film in Babelsberg as well as D-Facto in Hamburg and Berlin prove Qvest’s exceptional position as a partner of professional post-production studios.
