The UK’s premier event for the media and entertainment industry returns in 2024 with an expanded line-up of must-attend content, new exhibitors and a specially curated media technology conference.

London, UK, 11 January 2024  The Media Production & Technology Show (MPTS), today announced that registration is now live for the 2024 show. Returning to the Grand Hall of Olympia London from 15-16 May 2024, MPTS will deliver another packed seminar programme featuring exceptional creative talent, expertly curated theatre zones and new events running simultaneously with the exhibition in partnership with SMPTE, BAFTA albert and world leaders in Generative AI. 

Following a record-breaking year in 2023, which saw over 300 exhibitors, 100 live sessions and 10,000 attendees from 47 different countries, MPTS invites professionals from across Europe to explore, learn and engage with the latest technologies and hottest trends in production, audio, post, remote production, lighting, sports broadcasting and virtual production from some of the UK’s most inspiring practitioners in the business.

MPTS is excited to welcome many new exhibitors for 2024 including Absen, Cinedeck, Nikon and Shure. Making a return to the show floor, MPTS is pleased to welcome back Blackmagic Design, Elements, ITV Content Services, HHB, HP, Mo-Sys, Newsbridge and Videndum, to name a few.

Visitors can access over 250+ hours of exclusive and free-to-attend sessions across seven  theatres including Keynote, Production, Broadcast Technology, Post Production, Virtual Production, Audio and new for 2024, the AI Forum. Sustainability remains a major focus and receives a special theatre presented once again by BAFTA albert after its successful 2023 debut. Launching at MPTS 2024 is the Media Technology Conference co-produced by the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE). This unique and invite-only forum will take place alongside the MPTS exhibition and feature keynote presentations, panel discussions and networking designed to cultivate conversation and cross industry cooperation among M&E’s senior technology leaders and decision makers.

If there is one topic no-one can afford to ignore it is artificial intelligence.  NEW for 2024, MPTS is hosting the AI Forum – a 2-day event running parallel to the show and within the Grand Hall giving up-to-the-second insights into how AI is impacting the creative sector.
