Projective, a software provider that brings structure to post-production workflows for broadcasters, creative agencies and post-production facilities worldwide, is pleased to announce its return to the IBC Show at Stand 3.A44, hall 3. The company is set to unveil its latest innovations including its cloud-first creative project framework Strawberry Skies, its new MultiSite capability and Cloud Archival workflow.

As a market-leading post-production collaboration platform, Strawberry has always delivered intelligent project management, sharing, permissions, as well a comprehensive search capabilities and automation to customers worldwide. The latest Strawberry Skies combines this functionality with secure cloud access and can now be fully hosted by Projective, offering collaboration as a service. The solution empowers secure, flexible post-production from anywhere.

Projective clients, such as leading travel organization TUI, are already benefiting from leveraging Strawberry Skies. The solution has empowered TUI to transition from traditional physical data centers, effectively unifying their creative services and all creative applications in Belgium and the Netherlands. TUI can now launch faster marketing campaigns thanks to streamlined workflows, instant asset access, and real-time collaboration.

We are excited to meet our customers and partners at IBC and unveil our latest innovations that will continue to drive the industry forward,” says Derek Barrilleaux, CEO of Projective. “Strawberry Skies is revolutionizing post-production for our clients, eliminating manual processes and freeing up their teams to focus on content creation. We are helping businesses of all sizes attain unprecedented efficiency and cost savings.”

Introducing Strawberry MultiSite

At IBC 2024, Projective will launch its new MultiSite functionality, a groundbreaking technology solution that allows global companies to unify project workflows across all locations and efficiently manage the flow of creative projects between sites. Users can manage cloud and physical infrastructure, enact follow-the-sun workflows, and maintain project consistency across global locations. All of this can be managed via a single-pane-of-glass interface, and even automated with resource management tools.

Strawberry MultiSite offers a unified view of projects and assets across multiple locations, ensuring global content visibility and security. Projects can be seamlessly moved between on-premise and cloud systems, optimizing resource utilization. And unified metadata standardizes procedures across sites while also allowing regional flexibility.

With Strawberry’s multisite capabilities, infrastructure and security challenges like increased on-premise/cloud footprint, compliance issues, and unmanaged cloud content are effectively resolved.

Projects can be efficiently tracked and sent to resource locations, optimizing storage. They can also be tiered across on-premise and cloud storage solutions like S3 to reduce costs and centralize worldwide archives into a single physical location. Unified access rights through Strawberry and Skies ensure content security and streamlined access.

Enhanced Cloud Archival Capabilities

The new Cloud Archival feature allows Strawberry and Strawberry Skies servers to archive projects directly from production storage volumes to S3 object storage destinations, including Wasabi, Cloudflare, Backblaze, or Glacier Instant Retrieve. Archived projects retain their structure, metadata, and preview proxies, offering users a seamless browsing and retrieval experience, similar to working with their primary storage.

Customers can continue to use purpose-built archival tools such as Archiware, Ngenea, and Xendata for managing multiple copies or other storage destinations. However, for simple project transfers from high-performance storage to S3, Strawberry and Skies offer a highly streamlined workflow. Additionally, when archiving between Skies to LucidLink basic Filespaces, Wasabi, Backblaze, or Cloudflare, no egress charges apply.

We are bringing unprecedented innovation to IBC this year, including the new Strawberry MultiSite and Cloud Archival capabilities,” states Barrilleaux. “Our post-production collaboration solutions are set to revolutionize the way creative teams work globally. With these, we are introducing substantial benefits to our clients, including streamlined workflows and a more environmentally friendly infrastructure.”
