Thursday 30 November 2023 –  Gravity Media, the global provider of complex live creative production and media services, is thrilled to further expand its team to support the facility, their current and future customers and undertake the next phase of the build.

Gravity Media has appointed Róisín McKeniry as our Head of Technology and Paul Sykes has been appointed the role of Chief Facility Engineer (Westworks Project).

Both will be key technical leads for The Production Centre, in London (White City), working collaboratively with our engineering and technology leadership as well as the project engineering, post production and Production Centre teams based in London to build and guarantee our remote production workflows as well as the technical integrity and output of the facility, supporting and driving the handover of the site from build to operate and maintain.

Róisín and Paul will also be customer-facing and with the other core team be key players in scoping and defining solutions for the delivery of productions through the facility, when on-premise or as a remote production.

Róisín joins Gravity Media from Timeline / BT Sport Stratford where she was responsible for the technology provision and delivery from the facility. Roisin will lead the team of Engineers at The Production Centre, London (White City) ensuring the studios, production galleries and workflows are designed, operated, and supported to ensure successful live deliveries every time.

Róisín’s career in broadcast has taken her from junior editor right through post-production management into the technical and operational leadership of a flagship sports broadcast studio and post-production facilities.

Paul has been instrumental in the build phase of the new facility and will continue to drive the systems integration as the facility develops and more services come online. Paul has worked with Gravity Media since 2013 and is a seasoned Systems Integration engineer, having filled senior roles, more recently as the Head of Systems Integration for Gravity Media in the UK.

Gravity Media is also delighted to welcome Martin Deutsch as Broadcast Engineer. Martin also joins Gravity Media from the Timeline / BT Sport team at Stratford where he was the Lead MCR Engineer supporting the facility. He brings with him a wealth of experience across studio, live, remote production workflows and IP technologies.

Nick Symes, Director – Technology commented:

We are delighted to announce we are expanding our team at our newest London home The Production Centre, White City. Róisín, Paul and Martin all bring with them a wealth of experience and expertise and will continue to help us build and operate our fantastic new Production Centre, ensuring we continue to successfully deliver for our customers across the ever-changing media landscape.”
